FBLA Medalists Heading to State

North Tech students won several awards during this month’s Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) District Competitions. Many will be heading to the State Competitions in Springfield, which will be held April 8th through April 10th.

A Partnership with an Eye on the Future

The Home Builders Association of St. Louis & Eastern Missouri (HBA), through the launch of their first student chapter, has partnered with North Technical High School in Florissant and South Technical High School in Sunset Hills to enrich the lives of students interested in the trades by offering them first-hand exposure to the world of home building.

Students Tour BJC Site at Alton Memorial with The Korte Company

Several students from our Construction and Welding programs were invited to visit a Korte Construction job site this week.  Jason Weiss, Client Services Manager for The Korte Company, gave the students a personal tour of BJC’s Alton Memorial Hospital project.  The 2-story, 42,000 square foot building is an addition to Medical Building “B” on the Alton campus and construction began in April of 2017.
