Three North Tech graduates have been hired into the St. Louis County Police Department’s Cadet program. The program is designed to introduce young people who are interested in pursuing careers in policing to the profession while paying them to work shifts for the department.

Diesel Technology senior Jack Dietrich will be joining the ranks at L. Keeley Construction next semester as he begins a paid internship to round out his training. Dietrich will be the first high school intern to work as a Service Fleet Maintenance Tech for the company.
North and South Tech students who participate in the Ameren Skilled Craft Education Program recently toured the company’s downtown headquarters. The visit in one of many opportunities these students are given as they learn about exciting and rewarding careers within our local utility industry.
