North Tech Hosts Open House

North Tech Hosts Fall Open House October 24th

North Technical High School, North St. Louis County’s career and technical education (CTE) provider, will host an Open House on October 24, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  North Tech offers students 28 experiential learning courses in cooperation with partner high schools across St. Louis County. Our mission is college and career readiness – a commitment to preparing students for the increasing demands of the 21st-century workforce and ensuring they are fully prepared for college and careers.

Homeschooled, privately educated, and public schooled students who live in St. Louis County are eligible to take classes at Tech tuition free. Classes can begin in the sophomore or junior year and continue through the senior year, with 1.5 high school elective credits awarded each semester. Some programs include academic credits and most offer articulated and/or college credits and industry recognized certifications and credentials.

Students must apply to be considered for Tech and applications are currently being accepted for classes beginning in both January and August of 2020.  Our classes are small and most accept no more than 20 students, allowing students to build relationships with their classmates and instructor grounded in mentorship, team building, and a passion for their course of study.  Both partial day and full day enrollment are available.

During Open House, visitors can tour the school, meet with instructors and advisors, review course work, and have their questions answered. Applications can be submitted during the event, but families are encouraged to apply online via our website as soon as possible at https://northtechnical.org/application/.  Join us at Open House to see what “This Is Tech” is all about.
