Spring Open House on March 12th
North Technical High School, North St. Louis County’s career and technical education (CTE) provider, will host an Open House on March 12, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. North Tech offers students experiential learning courses in cooperation with partner high schools across St. Louis County. Our mission is college and career readiness – a commitment to preparing students for the increasing demands of the 21st-century workforce and ensuring they are fully prepared for college and careers.
Homeschooled, privately educated, and public school students who live in St. Louis County are eligible to take classes at Tech tuition free. Classes can begin in the sophomore or junior year and continue through the senior year, with 1.5 high school credits awarded each semester. Some programs include academic credits, most offer college credits, and the majority offer industry recognized certifications and credentials.
Students must apply to be considered for Tech and applications are currently being accepted for classes beginning in August of 2020. Our classes are small and most accept no more than 20 students, allowing students to build relationships with their classmates and instructor grounded in mentorship, team building, and a passion for their course of study. Both partial day and full day enrollment options are still available.
During Open House, visitors can tour the school, meet with instructors and advisors, review course work, and have their questions answered. Applications can be submitted during the event, but families are encouraged to apply online via our website as soon as possible at https://northtechnical.org/application/. Join us at Open House to see what “This Is Tech” is all about.
